Our Work

Legislation and Lobbying
We support environmental legislation at the local, state, and federal level. We canvass, and phone bank for environmental causes and candidates. We also register people to vote and run election awareness campaigns.

Speakers, Movies, and Other Events
We host speakers, show documentaries, start clothing swaps, sponsor late night events, work with local schools, and have a ton of other awesome events. Any member can propose an event!

Protests and Marches
We participate in nonviolent actions in Maine and beyond. We host and attend actions dedicated to a wide variety of issues, as we recognize that the struggle for environmental and climate justice is linked to every other social struggle. We strive to provide a platform for students to feel empowered to begin or continue making their voices heard.

Civil Disobedience
We get out on the front lines- whether it be sitting in at the Capitol Building in D.C. in support of voting rights and climate action or occupying oil train tracks in Albany, NY to protect low-income minority neighborhoods from the dangers of bomb trains. All civil disobedience actions are completely voluntary and completely encouraged.
